Cold drip is a long brew process and the resulting beverage is served cold. When you do not have the heat or fire of hot water you are forced to allow time to extract the coffee.
A large amount of coffee is prepared and a slow, very slow drip of around 1ml every 2 seconds passes over the bed of coffee for around 12 hours. This is a deep, reflective and syrupy coffee that requires time to prepare, a long time to brew, and time to reflect.

The cold drip is potent and likened to a liquor.
It is powerfully laden with caffeine and often strong flavours that have been mellowed down due to the softness of the water.
