Siphon is a unique, curious and bombastic brew method. Technically, Siphon is a filter coffee because the coffee does finally pass through a paper filter, however the process is engaging, experiential and dramatic.

A perfect sphere of water is placed above a flame, or a lamp, and brought to the boil. As it boils, the water bubbles up through the coffee, mixes, brews, and agitates for around 3 minutes. This agitation creates a creamy, thick and strong coffee that eventually cools as you take it off the flame. A vacuum is created forcing the coffee back into the sphere, which doubles as a serving vessel.

The siphon invites us to a higher appreciation of coffee, and draws those on the outside to come in, look, observe and experience something new.

As I am drawn into the Presence of God, the many aspects of His Nature confront me. They astound me, intrigue me and invite me to encounter this One who flung the stars into space and yet takes delight in creating the most delicate of blossoms.
